Make the gifs and gif emotes autoplay by default and make an option for us to be able to turn it on or off - but make the gifs and emotes play by default, like it was before. The fact that Discord so far has pushed the blame to Windows and the end-users after being the ones to enact this change is lazy and frankly, insulting. Choose your template and enter the text you want on it. I now have to hover over the image, and while this isn't life-threatening, I guess I'm just moreso curious if there is anyone else with this issue, or if this is just me, and if there's a way to set it back. I've been subscribed to Discord Nitro for 3 years but now my Nitro is essentially useless since I - and other people - have to hover over the gif emotes that I usually would see before. So for some reason, my discord app (both the EXE and the website) no longer automatically play gifs. The last time you pushed an unwarranted update it was equally as garbage (the whole chat UI changing with the quick reaction toolbar and message highlighting that was, and still is, HORRIBLE) and I'm actually really sad that now two times in a row Discord has pushed out a major update it has ruined the experience for me. The settings in my own PC disturb my own workflow and performance, while Discord never has caused any issues to my performance or PC which is why I don't mind seeing the emotes in Discord. The answer we've gotten so far is "well, just turn on the settings from your own pc" but I do NOT want to see Windows animations, just the animations in Discord. Just because I don't want to see Windows Animations, which by the way ruins my workflow, I want to see Discords gifs and especially the gif emotes autoplay. Even if they added an "Off" switch to the settings, it's already turned off by default for us many people. You can also find different icons sometimes like a green phone icon, which means the user is online on his smartphone. So this means if your OS settings have removed animation via, for example, Windows Settings, your Gifs and Gif emotes won't autoplay anymore. Yellow moon icon means idle, Red icon means Do Not Disturb, Purple means the user is streaming and finally Grey means Offline. While some individuals might opt to start learning the basic elements of graphic design through taking a class or earning a degree, the easiest and best way to create an impressive Discord logo is to use GraphicSprings, a Discord server. The easiest way to make an impact and impress your friends and peers is to have a great Discord server logo. Okay, so for those who don't know, Discord pushed yet again an update that ruined more than it should have:Įssentially, they introduced an "Reduced Motion Mode" which takes based on your OS the different settings. Standing out on the Discord platform can be tough.
